Light lunch at Seasons 52

One of our new favorite business lunch spots in Burlington is Seasons 52  at Wayside Commons.    We love their flat breads and host many business luncheons in the Chef's tasting table with distributors and factory reps.  We've even had our company's holiday party at the finer establishment.

Of course I can never be caught taking pictures when we're hosting so I had an opportunity this week when it was just a casual luncheon with my coworkers and I.

The clientele is mostly white collar workers from the nearby office buildings along with some retired elderly tables.  We sat in a booth and was brought water and a few wedges of lemon and limes on the side.

After glancing over the Spring Menu (by the way, everything is under 475 calories), we picked out a few appetizers to share.  Of course despite the menu being on the lighter side, there's still the risk of consuming much more calories with the additional of apps and their delicious shot glass desserts.

The grilled garlic pesto chicken flat bread is a staple for us so we had to get one.  It is cut into mini triangles and served on a wooden board.

I was trying to be healthy so I got the organic endamame with Japanese green tea salt.  They were great with the different salt! I love that it takes a bit of effort to eat them so you can just scarf them down.

We also shared the Grilled Spring Lamb Kefta which was minced lamb, grilled on a skewer and served with tzatziki Greek sauce.  It was good but I do love their lamb lollipops much better (on the special events menu)

For lunch, my friends each got an entree salad.  Samantha got the BBQ chicken salad with spinach, romaine and roasted corn along with crumbled blue cheese and roasted red peppers.

Jill got the sushi grade Maui tuna crunch salad with toasted almonds sesame seed dressing.

I had to be difficult and got the caramelized grilled sea scallops with a Caesar salad in lieu of the creamy lemon risotto.  The scallops were plump, flavorful and delicious.

The dressing and the cheese on the side Caesar salad was a bit on the heavy side.

We were in a time crunch and didn't do any desserts but they do have wonderful tasty bites.  The servers bring them out on a stand and you can choose from the many offerings.

The meal was great and we will definitely be back...matter of fact, we will be back in a couple of weeks to host another dinner.
