Holiday Party at Seasons 52

It's the most favorite time of the year, the month of December is filled with holiday parties.  During the week, we host luncheons with our best customer and during the weekend, my social calendar quickly fills up with holiday parties.  This year, I had the opportunity to put together our holiday party at work.  For the past few years, we've had our event at the former Beacon Grille in Woburn but now it's become a premier steak house, it was a little out of our budget.

After emailing a few different restaurant in the Burlington/Woburn area, I was impressed with the new Seasons 52 Fresh Grill & Bar restaurant that opened up in Wayside Commons.  We visited for lunch one day and loved the food (and the fact that everything on the menu is less than 470 calories!)

Nicole, the events coordinator at the restaurant communicated back and forth with logistics and menu options.  She was super friendly and sweet.

Almost everyone at my office LOVES lamb lollipops so it was important that it was offered during our holiday party.  Although it wasn't part of Seasons 52 seasonal menu, she was happy to accommodate our request.

We negotiated getting the Vineyard and Carneros (that can be converted into one long room) in the back wall to fit our party of 25 comfortably.  We needed extra space for the bar area and Yankee swap gifts and didn't want people to feel cramped.

The rooms had beautiful architectural details and the wine display was marvelous.

I loved that they had set up a make shift bar in our room for beer and wine.  This saved a lot of running back and forth to the main bar which made for happy customers.  Those who wanted specialty drinks or cocktails were still served in a timely manner.

We usually have a cocktail hour before dinner with passed hors d'oeurves so it was expected that I ordered the usual shrimp cocktail, chicken skewers, stuffed mushrooms, seared scallops and lamb lollipops.  Yes, we had so much food!

For dinner, I went with the "Signature Dinner Menu" which included 2 flatbreads, soup or salad, and three dinner entrees served family style with coffee/tea and their staple "Mini Indulgence" at $ 62.00 a person. The long tables were set up with place settings for 12 people each.

Everyone was so excited when the mini desserts came out.  There were so many different flavors like Cream cheese, keylime, pecan to name a few.
