Showers of Happiness for Amsi

My favorite showers are the ones that I am well stuffed and well quenched.  Both requirements were fulfilled at Amsi's Bridal shower at Four Oaks in Dracut, MA this past Sunday.  Amsi's mother, sisters and future mother in law did a great job.

Shamir, Maria, Amsi, Kate, Shalmai

The bridal shower took place in a private banquet room overlooking the beautiful golf course.

The renovated function room is beautiful and  features crown molding and beautiful drum pendant and recessed lights.  The elegant tables were set up with beautiful flower centerpieces and baby blue napkins.

Amsi was surrounded by close friends, family and even law school buddies that surprised her all the way from New York.

The cutest guests were her two nieces that fashionably arrived in matching dresses and bows.

Shower guests sipped on mimosas and sangria served in self serve punch bowls.

I loved the drink napkins personalized with Amsi's name and shower theme.

The brunch buffet featured crispy bacon, ham, eggs, fruit salad, french toast, salad, mashed potatoes and delicious chicken Marsala.  Everything was so good that I went back for seconds! (And a bunch of other people did as well!)

For dessert, Kate Owens made homemade cookies using real flower petals. They were so cool!

There was a beautiful "Showers of Happiness for Amsi" cake made by Creative Cakes by Debby in Nashua.  Everyone commented that it was so tasty and I agreed! I like my cakes light and moist.

The bride received help opening her gifts from her adorable nieces, Catalina and Gabriella.

Being a foodie myself, I loved the recipe holder she received for one of her gifts. I thought it was unique and great!

Of course being the lush that I am, I also loved the mini champagne bottles.

We played the "Who knows the couple best?" game and guests won prizes for guessing the color of Amsi's eyes and Tim's favorite beer, which happened to be a specific beer, On DRAFT. Can you guess what it is?

Prizes were given out to those who received the highest score.

There were beautiful high top tables set up in the foyer where guests could write words of wisdom and advice for the soon to be married couple.  My favorite one was "Order Take-Out."

Some of the cards were chosen and read out loud by Maria and the advice givers were presented with the beautiful floral centerpieces.  I knew I should have written more than one card!

Guests received cute potted plants as favors.  They were so cute! There was sweat pea, basil and spearmint, just to name a few. I loved them.. and so did everyone else!

What a fun bridal shower! I can't wait for her big day in Maine!

Great job Maria, Shalmai, Shamir and Kate! You ladies sure know how to put the class in classy! Thanks for a wonderful day!
